This is basically just a combination of Dredge and Lancer, which I cannot express in words exactly how much I love it. Now to just convince a few friends to go on a fishing trip...

I love mechs and I love fishing. So you made this game specifically for me. Thank you :)

Won't have time to try it out for a while, but I am very impressed with what I've read of the core book, it's got me and my players excited for whenever we are able to get to it.  All the extra assets are very much appreciated as well, look to be high quality.  Overall, well worth the price.

Fathomless Gears has been a joy to playtest over the past year. Its world is full of flavour and style, and the standout combat system uses a streamlined ruleset to create strategically rich gameplay - it's much harder to catch fish than kill them!

I strongly recommend this game to anyone who likes their TRPGs tactical.

Easily the finest mecha-fishing game on the market! Balanced and fun for both players and GMs, with a *ton* of room for creativity in builds. Fish on! And don't worry about your pilot getting caught in a net - Fathomless is safe fun for everyone.

This game gave me critical surgery after an accident, bonded with me while I was in ICU, gave me a 0 interest loan when I was at my lowest times, was the best man at my wedding, started a business with me, became the godfather of my kids, saved my marriage, and led our shared business to become a fortune 500 company. all this could be yours too if you simply buy a copy! 10/10 game, only needs more Klaus Tropen.

This is a quality passion project by the owner of Interpoint Station and it shines all the way through.

Diesel punk, fish-core, mechs, eldritch horror, unique health and character building systems; both for enemies and players. The lore sections do a fantastic job of inspiring your imagination with plenty of ideas. The non-tactical play is lightweight and structured well. The combat is the center of the show with cleanly worded rules; lending to amazing moments of tension and excitement trying to catch monstrous fish your group has set out to bring home. Sessions can be evenly paced with the way fishing trips are structured; played in time frames of 2-3 hours or 4-6 hours, depending on if you want to split a fishing trip into 2 sessions or finish it in 1.  GM prep work is made easy thanks to the gearwright companion, with a fantastic prep-to-play time ratio. Community members in the discord are always sharing ideas for new fish or mech layouts for you to try and experiment with.

This system is fun and dynamic. By changing the objective of combat scenes not to kill but to catch you have to consider how you play. Great Art all around.

Literally last week I had a deep sea fishing encounter in my Lancer game so this is the best timing since my players like that.

Fathomless Gears is a welcome breath of fresh air with a simplistic & airtight rule set! The book is beautifully illustrated & it has been a blessing to watch this game develop over the last year & a half. If you're looking to scratch that mecha itch or just want a new TTRPG to jump into- give this one a shot!

Fish fear me. Absolutely stunning art and easy to grasp on the mechanics end, if you're a fan of fishing or a fan of mechs you'll enjoy this game and its unique style for a TTRPG!!!
